SCIENCE BEHIND THE INGREDIENTS
Glycerin andGlycerin and Sodium Hyaluronate hydrates and moisturises the skin. Betaine naturally occurs in the body and often derived from sugar beet, a humectant that attracts moisture to the skin, keeping and maintaining its hydration. Has anti-aging, anti-irritant and moisturising properties which helps smooth-en appearances of wrinkles, reduce sensitivity with calming effect on the skin. ​Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil, ideal ingredient for dry skin due to its nourishing fatty acids, easily absorbed to the skin, makes it soft to touch. Niacinamide ​helps rejuvenate your skin, enhances skin clarity and luminosity, thanks to its soothing property. It also stimulates collagen synthesis and production of ceramide (components of your skin outer protective barrier), reduces rate of sebum secretion and redness from acne and eczema, improves skin texture and the appearance of hyper pigmented spots. ​Bakuchiol a powerful plant-based ingredient that offers anti-aging, anti-inflammatory and anti-acne properties. ​​​​MY THOUGHTS ON PRODUCT PERFORMANCE
By Wishtrend Vitamin A-mazing Bakuchiol Night Cream, a vitamin A night cream for well-aging beginners, formulated with 2 ingredients effectively for well-aging (Retinal and Bakuchiol) provides nourishment and repairs your skin while sleeping. Apply 1 pump of product onto clean fingers and smooth over skin after serum step during your night routine. Be careful not to exceed 2 pumps, little goes a long way with this product due to its thick and creamy smooth texture. For sensitive skin or new to vitamin A product, build up your skin's tolerance slowly by start using once a week for first few weeks then increase to twice a week for a certain period, continue with 3 times a week and so on. This night cream has no fragrance, there is a very subtle scent that I could detect while using. My skin feels super soft and plump in the morning. Has natural yellow, super creamy and smooth but absorbs really well to the skin. When using its best to apply on damp skin for best effect. The natural yellow stain could easily wash off in the morning though I didn't experience the skin staining myself. I started off using once a week for 2 weeks, paired with niacinamide serum to minimize skin redness or irritation. I'm currently using twice a week at night for 3 weeks now. What I noticed are: my acne scars are fading, skin overall complexion definitely brighter, textured areas smooth-en and even in color. When it comes to that time of the month, I have some new acne spots along my jawline and cheeks, this cream shows great effect in controlling my current acne but only have some effect on preventing new blemishes. I have dry, sensitive and acne-prone skin. I haven't had any skin reactions while using the cream. I couldn't test out the effects on reducing wrinkles or fine lines as I don't have any, guess I'm preventing at this stage. My testing period for this product was 1 and a half month, definitely nourish and repair the skin while sleeping, my skin is glowing in the morning after washing.
