Niacinamide ​helps rejuvenate your skin, enhances skin clarity and luminosity, thanks to its soothing property. It also stimulates collagen synthesis and production of ceramide (components of your skin outer protective barrier), reduces rate of sebum secretion and redness from acne and eczema, improves skin texture and the appearance of hyper pigmented spots. Betaine naturally occurs in the body and often derived from sugar beet, a humectant that attracts moisture to the skin, keeping and maintaining its hydration. Has anti-aging, anti-irritant and moisturizing properties which helps smooth-en appearances of wrinkles, reduce sensitivity with calming effect on the skin. Panthenol (vitamin B5) has anti-inflammatory, wound healing and skin protecting properties. Lactobionic Acid, a PHA, gently remove the dead skin cells while protect the skin barrier and moisturizes the skin. Allatoin has soothing, wound healing properties, in turn protects the skin. Adenosine has anti-inflammatory property, cell-signaling role to improve wound healing process, barrier protection and repair, improve collagen production while improve skin elasticity and firmness. Glycerin and Sodium Hyaluronate moisturise and hydrate the skin ​ Nelumbo Nucifera Extract (Lotus) widely use due to its antioxidant benefit, protect the skin from free radical damages from environmental stressors, keeps skin well hydrated and moisturized. MY THOUGHTS ON PRODUCT PERFORMANCE Banobagi Calming Care Cleansing Gel to Foam is a gel to foam face cleanser that soothes, hydrates and brightening the skin with 3 layers of HA, Niacinamide and chamomile extract, helps remove impurities and dirt from the skin. Squeeze a pea size amount of product on your hand, rub together until gel turn to foam then apply to your face, massage on your face then rinse with lukewarm water. This cleanser is great to use in the morning routine as a gentle cleanser to the skin, keep it fresh to begin the day. The texture of the cleanser is clear jelly like, slight fragrance but very hardly noticing it at all. when added water, it lathers up to foam texture, little goes a long way with this cleanser as it foams up nicely when comes in contact with water. After cleansing, my face doesn't feel tight after use, feels smooth, hydrating, replenish my fatigued stress looking skin, does a great job to remove impurities from the skin. I then follow with a toner mist to lock in moisture after using cleanser, serum and moisturizer. If you are not the type of using multiple skincare steps, just follow with a moisturizer after cleansing would be just fine for your skin. I have dry, sensitive and acne-prone skin. This cleanser hasn't break me out or cause any irritation. A nice alternative for my skin types after using others acne target cleanser. This is great for all skin types even sensitive skin. For me, the cleanser does have a subtle brightening effect with consistence use.
